"Después de la última parada en boxes, el equipo me dijo que la carrera había terminado y que arriesgáramos lo menos posible de cara al final para cuidar los neumáticos y proteger los bólidos", explicó el experimentado australiano, que tras el hecho recriminó públicamente al piloto alemán con gestos obscenos y discusión frente a las cámaras.
"El equipo tomó una decisión y bajé el ritmo, pero al final Sebastian tomó sus propias decisiones y no hizo caso a las órdenes. En el tramo final de la carrera forcé menos el motor y cuidé más los neumáticos, pero ahí empezó la pelea. Estoy decepcionado con el resultado", añadió Webber frente a los periodistas.
